Professor Armin Moczek was awarded a large multi-institution grant on the Extended Evolutionary Synthesis by the John Templeton Foundation. This grant builds on a framework Armin and others articulated in a pair of recent publications (Laland et al. 2014, Nature; Laland et el., 2015, Proc. Biol. Sci.), and brings 1.25 million dollars of support to IU. Of the three IU projects, two are led by Armin and one by Mike Wade, and the Center for Genomics and Bioinformatics plays an important role in multiple aspects of this work.
