- Confirm that you will be able to fulfill the requirements of the Honors Program (see below). Students must have a GPA of at least 3.3 and an honors research mentor to apply.
- Identify a faculty honors research mentor and obtain their permission to conduct an honors research project with them. Note: begin seeking research experiences and a faculty advisor early in your undergraduate career. Research mentors must be CISAB faculty members.
- Select the members of your honors thesis committee and ask them to serve on your committee. Your thesis committee must have three faculty members, and at least two of the three members must be CISAB faculty members.
- Fill out the application form for the Honors Program in Animal Behavior. Complete the application, obtain the signatures of your faculty research mentor and thesis committee members, and submit copies to the Animal Behavior Undergraduate Advising office abehadv@iu.edu and the Program of Animal Behavior abeh@iu.edu. Applications must be approved before a student is admitted to the honors program.
